I spent years as part of a small IT team at Sauk Valley Bank — responsible for every layer of the technology stack in a regulated financial environment. Servers, networking, storage, security, compliance, automation. When something broke, I fixed it. When something needed building, I built it.
That experience shaped a way of thinking that hasn't left me: understand the full system, document everything, and treat security as operational discipline — not an afterthought.
Today I work as a Senior Technical Admin Specialist at Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions, managing on-premises infrastructure while extending my skills into cloud security. I'm currently completing the AZ-500 Microsoft Azure Security Engineer certification and building toward cloud security roles.
